Abstract

As has become a tradition in Dugesiana, this issue is dedicatedto Biologist María Eugenia Díaz Batres, a distinguishedMexican entomologist who has devoted nearly six decadesto the curation of the Entomological Collection of the Museo de Historia Natural y Cultura Ambiental de la Ciudad de México “Dr. Alfredo Barrera Marín” (MHNCM). Throughout these years, María Eugenia—affectionately known as Maru by her friends and colleagues—has safeguarded this invaluable scientific collection with exceptional care, particularly its rich holdings of Coleoptera and Lepidoptera.
