Abstract

With specimens reared in captivity the third stage larvae of: Ceraspis pilatei (Harold, 1863), collected around the village of Rayon, north of Chiapas; Diplotaxis puberea (Bates, 1887) and Phyllophaga multipora (Bates, 1888), obtained in cultivated fields from Motozintla, southern Chiapas, are described. Figures of diagnostic characters and comments about differences with other Mexican species of Melolonthinae are included.
