Abstract

Phyllophaga (s.str.) villardoi n. sp. is described with specimens collected in oak and pine forests located in Taxco, Guerrero and Temascaltepec, State of Mexico. Figures of diagnostic characters, dorsal and lateral habitus, and comments about differences of the new species with other Mexican species of Phyllophaga are included.
