Se describe una nueva especie del género Myrtopsen a partir de un material obtenido de agallas recolectadas en Inga vera (Fabaceae) procedentes de San José (Costa Rica). Este registro representa la primera especie de dicho género y el primer registro de la subfamilia Thrasorinae para la fauna de Costa Rica. Myrtopsen palmirae Pujade-Villar n. sp. es una especie que presenta peculiaridades morfológicas que la hacen inconfundible respecto a las otras 11 especies que contempla dicho género. Se ilustran además los principales rasgos morfológicos de esta nueva especie.Downloads
