Se presenta una síntesis sobre la taxonomía y distribución de las especies de la familia Limnichidae de México. Se proporciona una lista anotada para géneros y especies incluyendo los estados en donde se han registrado, así como una clave para subfamilias y géneros. De acuerdo con ello la familia Limnichidae está representada en México por 3 subfamilias, 12 géneros y 42 especies que corresponde al 80% y 31% respectivamente de los totales referidos para América y al 86% y 71% respectivamente de Mesoamérica. Los estados con mayor número de especies son Morelos (14), Chiapas (11) y Veracruz (10). Se registra por primera vez a Phalacrichus atomarius Sharp para el estado de Veracruz.Downloads
