Cetoninos de dos localidades de Jalisco, México (Coleoptera: Scarabaeidae: Cetoniinae)

Se estudió la composición de los coleópteros cetoninos carpófilos en dos localidades del estado de Jalisco: Colinas de Río Blanco (Zapopan), y Puerta del Zapatero, (Mazamitla). Los muestreos se realizaron de septiembre a noviembre de 2005, utilizando trampas de fruta cebadas con plátano. Se registraron ocho especies para Mazamitla, donde la especie más abundante fue Gymnetis difficilis Burmeister (61%); mientras que en Zapopan se registraron siete especies, siendo más abundantes Cotinis laticornis Bates (51%) y Neoscelis dohrni (Westwood) (36%). Se comparten cuatro especies en las localidades: Cotinis laticornis, C. mutabilis, Hologymnetis cinerea y H. moroni.Downloads
