Abstract

Se rrealizaron colectas mensuales durante octubre de 1989 a enero de 1992, se obtuvieron 473 ejemplares. Se encontraron cinco especies de escarabajos de hábitos ambrosiales entre las que destacan las como Platypus parallelus (Fabricius), (Platypodidae) y a Xyleborus affinis Eichhoff, Monarthrum laterale (Eichhoff), Corthylus flagelifer Blandford y C fuscus Corthylus flagellifer fueron las de mayor abundancia. Se incluye información sobre la biología y algunos comentarios sobre las especies.
