Resumo

A new species of oak gallwasp, Atrusca dumosae Melika & Pujade-Villar is described from Baja California Norte, Mexico, known to induce galls on Quercus dumosa. Only asexual females are known. Data on the diagnosis, distribution and biology of the new species is given. Diagnosis for the bella species complex and a key to the closely related species is given. Key words:
