Abstract

We describe Nooxapty gen. nov. and two species, Nooxapty isabelae sp. nov. and Nooxapty mixe sp. nov., from north Oaxaca, Mexico. This new genus is placed among Diapheromerini Kirby, 1904 and it is related to several Pseudosermyle Caudell, 1903 species. Nooxapty clavigerum comb. n. is removed from Pseudosermyle and placed in Nooxapty gen. nov., because it shares the main characters.
