Abstract

A new species of oak gallwasp, Andricus partali n. sp. (Hym., Cynipidae: Cynipini), is described from Costa Ricainducing galls on the leaves of Q. costaricensis Liebm. (Section Lobatae). We provide a description, diagnosis, and information about the distribution and biology of the new species.
