Factibilidad del Cultivo de la Cochinilla del Carmin en Zapotlanejo, Jalisco, México

Abstract

Con el fin de conocer la factibilidad del cultivo de cochinilla (Dactylopius coccus Costa) en Zapotlanejo, Jalisco, México, se evaluaron cutro métodos de infestación: boliviano, oaxaqueño, peruano y Ricci, los tres primeros conformados por 20 hembras oviplenas (OV), y el último sólo con 6 OV de cochinilla. El experimento se realizó con cinco repeticiones para cada método (tratamiento) y fue analizado estadísticamente mediante un diseño completamente al azar y comparaciones múltiples de medias de tukey. Se realizó bajo condiciones de cobertizo (noaloteca) con cladodios separados del nopal Opuntia ficus-indica (L.) Mill.
