Abstract

Se presenta el primer listado faunístico de Collembola (Hexapoda) para el Nevado de Colima, Jalisco, de un total de 2,424 ejemplares colectados en suelo. La lista incluye 24 especies que pertenecen a 21 géneros y siete familias. Del material colectado se tiene un primer registro para México del género Gnathogastrura, así como seis nuevos registros de las especies: Hypogastrura perplexa Christiansen & Bellinger, Isotoma delta MacGillivray, Guthriella muskegis Borner, Sminthurides macnamarai Folsom & Mills and Sminthurus viridis Linnæus y 15 especies constituyen nuevos registros para Jalisco, lo que aumenta a 98 el número de especies conocidas para el estado. Además, una especie es registrada por primera vez dentro de la Faja Volcánica Transmexicana (FVT).
