Eugenio Dugés: Un precursor de la entomología en México

Abstract

Se presenta una breve reseña biográfica del Dr. Eugenio Dugés (Eugene Romain Delsescautz-Dugés) entomólogo de origen francés que dedicó 27 años de su vida al estudio de los coleópteros mexicanos. Se presenta una lista de 26 especies dedicadas en su honor, así como un listado completo de las especies nominadas y descritas en su manuscrito inédito depositado actualmente en el Instituto de Biología, Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México.
