Aspectos sistemáticos y biológicos de Cassidinae Gyllenhal, 1813 (Coleopetera: Chysomelidae)

Resumen

Se realizó una revisión bibliográfica sobre la sistemática, distribución, aspectos biológicos como la coloración y la evolución de los comportamientos sociales que se presentan en Cassidinae. Se concluye que el aumento de los estudios biológicos es prioritario para llenar los vacíos en la información de las especies y así poder proponer hipótesis sobre la evolución de su comportamiento. Igual de importante es la compilación de la información geográfica, la cual es necesaria para tener un mejor entendimiento sobre los proceso biogeográficos de Cassidinae.
